Operating Partnership
The consulting and operating backgrounds of Breck’s professionals allow us to rapidly assess situations with a “story” and to successfully make investments where others cannot. After closing, Breck’s role is to partner closely with management and equip them to win in their respective industries. We prioritize improving revenue quality (profitability) over just growing revenue quantity.
Focus and Commitment
Our approach is to invest in only 3 to 5 companies through the life of our fund and to focus our time and energy to make each a success, rather than spreading our resources across a broad portfolio. We’re all in. This focused approach allows the entire Breck team to be heavily involved in all of our portfolio companies, thereby increasing our ability to contribute to the success of each business.

We believe that building an enduring, exceptional company through transformative operational and strategic execution requires time. Our hold period reflects this philosophy. Generally, our investments follow two phases. The first phase focuses on building a strong foundation that maximizes profitability. The second phase is focused on growth, both organic growth and growth through acquisition.
